What I am doing.
For those who know me and follow my film blog My Journey into Film, I have been working on a film since 2011 on sexual violence. It has evolved from rape to forced rape for profit know as the sex trade/trafficking. While having a conversation with my friend and Tampa filmmaker Marcus Kempton, I came up with the plot and story for the new film. My film also covers combat veterans returning for the wars and the issues they face, like PTSD and the horrors they bring back with them. These subjects are very important to me, for I am a veteran and have many friends who suffer from PTSD and other issues. The sex trade issue because I find it to be one of the most detestable things I think of. I have an unhealthy, no kidding, hatred towards pimps and sex traffickers. I also almost went to…

Am I in love with this cam? Well the DR maxes out at 12 stops, but damn the color and feel of the images is very filmlike. It could have a very nice sensor, which I’m not an expert at evaluating. All I know is that the recent Sony competitor had video looking dry images that left me cold.
This new AJA cam has a film aesthetic right out of the box, and look at those ergonomics! It’s got everything you might want to shoot a documentary or whatever.
($9,000?)
After the Westboros threatened to picket Robin Williams’ funeral, this offer was made, and perhaps it will actually be taken up.

Brian Trenchard-Smith delivered the goods last time with The Sound of Noise. Here he pitches a similarly obscure Italian drama/mystery in his perfectly dry British style. So off to Netflix again, right after this round of True Blood…
Yes, I am still making this film. No, I didn’t forget.
So I am a filmmaker, multidisciplinary artist, thinker writer. In film I am a producer and director. Back in 2011, I decided to produce a film regrading sexual violence. I teamed up with the very talented screenwriter Semone Fournillier who is currently attending AFI American Film Institute. We did lots of research and eventually Semone came up with a good screenplay. In it, it dealt with underage prostitution, rape and a predator; which lead me to going deeper into those subjects.
At the same time, I was starting to read post by Dr. Brook Bello on Twitter and Facebook. She is the founder of More to Life and a woman who has been waging war against the sex trade for a very long time, which restarted my interested in the sex trade and how it could be turned into a film. I say restarted because in 2004 I heard…
