Upgrading.

So, I recently invested in getting the Final Draft 13 Upgrade. It was a Black Friday sale, so I took advantage of it. I also got Microsoft word software. I have been needing to get it for a while. Investing in yourself by purchasing the tools you need to work is all worth it.

Having the latest versions of these programs will streamline my writing process and make it much easier to format and organize my scripts and documents. With both tools at my disposal, I feel more prepared and motivated to tackle upcoming projects.

So, Ken and I are looking to raise the money to incorporate as an LLC. So, if you are interested in being part of a new production company that has two guys who have a lot of ideas and drive, hit me up and let’s talk.   The one thing that really gets my goat, is people who say they have a production company, yet they are not incorporated.   If you want to start a production company, make it legal. A ton of benefits in doing it and does not cost all that much.

So, one of my biggest problems is my working environment is quite messy, and it prevents me from being productive.  So right now, I am squaring away my studio and office. I will be much more productive and get done what I need to get done. If you want to know why I have not been here it is because my office area is a mess.   As I get more organized the more content and productivity I will be getting done.

More to come.

The quick update of 8 June 15

So I haven’t been on here is a while. Since March I think.  Anyways, here is what is going on, I had stopped working on film for a while, but now I am back at it. I am back to researching and developing my film on sexual violence and combat veteran issues, as well as starting to do character bio’s.  I am also planning my production company that I want to start when the screenplay is finished and it is time to raise capital to make it.

I am also going to be working on a some ideas for series that will be either for TV or the web. If I do a web series, it is with the hope that it does well enough to gain the attention of a network. Hi HBO. I heart you.  I have a few ideas in mind, one of which is set here in Tampa and uses the Tampa Bay and its people as a back drop. Tampa has a great music and art scene. As far as the film scene goes it lacks desperately. You have a lot of monkeys with cameras running around making substandard films. But, thankfully,  there are a few talented people making interesting, quality work.

I also have started to paint again. What got me going again is that I was commissioned to do a piece. This has gotten back to painting a series of paintings. I plan on having enough work done to be in a show in about 4 to 6 months as well as having the feature written and the production company ready to go.  Once I have this all ready to go I plan on putting this out to the media. And those people who know what happened regrading the film on sexual violence and the ordeal I suffered know that this will be a big deal.

If you want to talk about investing in either my projects or production company let’s talk. Contact me at timschroyer@gmail.com.

10/15/2014 What’s up

Hey sorry I haven’t been on for awhile, last week was one of those weeks where I just couldn’t get it together let alone think or write.  I started to read “The Untold War” by Nancey Sherman for research for the feature. What I get out of this book will bleed over to the series that I am developing.   I also am going to read a book by Joseph Campbell called “The Hero with a Thousands Faces”  I am doing that so i can have better characters in my scripts.

So I was having a conversation with a new friend Damian who is a local, Tampa, Fl, artist and she has motivated t0 get making art and photographing. I have2 paintings  started, which I need to complete.  I really don’t know if  they will be shown, but you never know. Same goes for photography.  And speaking of photography I really need to get back into it, for I have a background in Fine Art Photography, and will have to have to outsource the pictures for touch ups. I have a good friend who is a Photoshop guru, and they ever sell I will give him a percentage of the sells. ‘

ONE LAST THING.  I have to send off Mr. laptop to be fixed. The doggies somehow knocked off my desk shattering the screen, and so off it has to go off to be fixed. One big reason to always get a warranty.  So I will try to write at the library.
